The Devil Tree Series

The Devil Tree…

…is an award winning anthology series written & directed by Sean O’Shea. The series revolves around a haunted tree and fictional summer camp with inspiration coming from 80s & 90s horror, Hocus Pocus & Goosebumps, and Wet Hot American Summer. These short plays will make you laugh and they will make you scream.

The first two installments have been ensemble pieces, featuring campers and their counselors telling stories around a fire. Part Three is a more focused piece that dives deeper into the mythology of Camp Wannawok and its haunted resident, The Devil Tree.

There have been two productions of the original show, “The Devil Tree”; a same-universe side story (“Halloween Dessert”) that helped lead into “The Devil Tree Part Two: Just Desserts”, and most recently, “The Devil Tree Part Three: Season of the Witch”.
